Exocutor-16 white (EX16W)

Electric trap
A high-voltage grid kills insects flying towards the light. Effective in high-ceiling warehouses and technical spaces, where the scattered fragments of a killed insect pose no food-safety risk.

Where should it be placed?
The trap attracts flying insects with light, so placement determines how effective it is. It should not face the entrance directly – light shining outward from there tends to lure insects in – but to the side, 2–3 metres from the entrance, away from natural light sources. It must not be placed directly above a food-contact surface.
Maintenance
A UV tube's output drops even while it is still lit, so it should be replaced every year – typically before the season starts. Insect remains burnt onto the killing grid should be removed periodically to keep the trap working at full efficiency.
